1. Detect new member
The bot listens to the guildMemberAdd gateway event.
2. Send welcome message
Posted as a rich embed in the configured welcome channel.
3. Assign "Red Bull"
Default role granted immediately, permission-checked first.
4. Save member + join log
Rows written to members and welcome_logs.
Channel & role configuration
These values live in the guild_settings table and are read by the bot on every join. Editing is enabled once the database is connected — for now set them in the bot's .env.
